Where are you from?とWhat do you do?
What do you do?
Where are you from?
定番の質問はWhere are you from?です。国、町、または両方を使って、I’m from Korea.やI’m from Busan, in Korea. Fromの後は国名でfrom Korea、国籍を表す言葉は単独で使いI’m Koreanです。I’m from Koreanとは言いません。
I’m from Daegu, but I live in Seoul now. Where do you live? 知らない地名が出たら、Oh, where is that?やWhat is it like there?
What do you do?
What do you do? I’m aに職業を続け、I’m a nurse.やI’m an engineer. 母音の音で始まる語の前では、an engineer、an English teacherのようにanを使います。I work for a bank.やI work in marketing. I work in the design team、CarlaがI’m in the marketing teamと言っています。
I’m a student.、I study biology at Korea University.、I’m in high school. I’m looking for a job right now. その後、How about you?やAnd what do you do? How are you?
